This Privacy Policy ("this Policy") explains how FlashOTG (hereinafter "the Software" or "we") collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

We deeply understand the importance of personal information to you and will treat it with the utmost prudence. Please carefully read and fully understand this Policy.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Software is an offline utility application for local USB flashing of ESP32/ESP8266 series chips and Arduboy/AVR devices. It does NOT connect to the network or upload any of your information; it only stores necessary device profiles, preferences, and runtime logs locally on your device.

I. Information We DO NOT Collect

The Software is a purely local firmware flashing utility. We do NOT collect or upload any of the following information from you:

1.1 Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Including but not limited to your name, phone number, email address, identification document numbers, biometric data, etc.

1.2 Device Identifiers: Including but not limited to your phone's IMEI, MEID, serial number, MAC address, Android ID / OAID, and other unique device identifiers.

1.3 Location Information: The Software does not access your precise or approximate geographic location.

1.4 Usage Data: The Software does not collect your usage habits, click behavior, operation frequency, or other analytical data.

1.5 Firmware Content: Any firmware files (.hex / .bin / .arduboy / BIN) and their contents that you read, flash, or export remain exclusively on your local device. The Software does not read, copy, upload, or share the contents of these files.

1.6 Device Information: Hardware identification information such as the serial number, chip ID, or MAC address of connected Arduboy/AVR or ESP devices is used only for local device identification. To automatically match a flash plan on the next connection, the ESP device MAC may be stored locally as a "device profile"; some hardware identifiers may appear in runtime logs for troubleshooting, but they are never uploaded to any server. You can clear all local data by uninstalling the Software.

II. Permission Usage
